Two showhomes for sale at development in Lighthorne Heath
House-hunters in Warwickshire have the chance to buy a former showhome complete with the fixtures and fittings at a development in Lighthorne Heath.
The three-bedroom Tailor and Thespian showhomes have been released for sale at Bellway’s Kings Grove development, off Banbury Road, and are among the final selection of 11 properties remaining available to buy.
Work started at the development in 2019 and the final homes are due to be completed this summer.
The showhomes are part of Bellway’s Artisan Collection, which was developed from customer feedback and incorporates traditional craftsmanship with the latest building techniques.
Elaine Brown, Sales Director for Bellway South Midlands, said: “Selling the showhomes is a key moment as it is a marker that we are coming to the final stages of development at Kings Grove.
“There is something special about purchasing a showhome in which every room has been carefully fitted out by a professional interior designer.
“We started work at Kings Grove three years ago and now we are heading towards the end of the process. Over those three years we have seen a wonderful community form here as neighbours have moved in, got to know each other and made friends.
“We expect that by the end of the summer all the homes will be finished and occupied by their new residents.”
The Tailor showhome is at plot 35 at Kings Grove and is a three-bedroom semi-detached house. The living room leads through to a kitchen/dining room with French doors to the garden, decorated in shades of slate grey and forest green.
Meanwhile the three-bedroom detached Thespian showhome found next door at plot 36 has an open-plan kitchen/dining room and a separate living room off a central entrance hallway and features a light and natural colour scheme.
Both properties are being sold for a July completion date and work is expected to finish on the development around that time. The last residents are due to move into their new homes at Kings Grove in July and August.
Bellway is building 140 properties at Kings Grove, including 105 homes for private sale and 35 affordable homes.
