Showhome launched at new Cavendish Grove development in Raynes Park
Bellway London has opened the doors to a new showhome at its Cavendish Grove development in Raynes Park.
Prospective purchasers were invited to view the new three-bedroom, three-storey Charles showhome at a launch event held at the development on Saturday 1 March.
Bellway London sales staff were on hand to greet visitors, while a catering van from local company Big Bro Espresso served hot drinks and pastries.
The developer is building 107 properties on the site, off Meadowview Road, on the former London Electricity Sports and Social Association (LESSA) site. The site will feature one and two-bedroom apartments and two, three and four-bedroom houses.
The project will also deliver new tennis courts, a multi-use games area, a five-a-side football pitch, a children’s playground and an additional investment of £1.32 million in local sports facilities as part of the development.
Daniel Williamson, Sales Director at Bellway London, said: “The unveiling of this showhome has been eagerly awaited by potential buyers at Cavendish Grove, some of whom had been in touch to book a viewing appointment prior to the launch date.
“We are delivering much-needed family housing at Cavendish Grove, and the Charles showhome is a superb example of a home where people can get the extra flexibility and space they need across three storeys.
“This will be a great place for parents to put down roots and raise their children, with carefully planned green open space, play equipment and sports facilities on the doorstep. The new sports pitches are due to open later this summer, and the showhome launch event was the perfect opportunity for people to find out more about this aspect of the project.
“Visitors were also interested to find out about the energy-efficient design of the new homes, and the low-carbon technologies such air source heat pumps and solar PV panels used for water heating, which will help residents minimise both their energy bills and carbon emissions.”
Cavendish Grove will comprise 63 homes for private sale, consisting of one and two-bedroom apartments and two, three and four-bedroom houses. There will also be 44 affordable homes for local people. These will feature a mix of apartments and houses, with 27 properties allocated as low-cost rent and 17 as shared ownership.
Daniel said: “This modern development offers a stunning collection of contemporary and stylish new homes in a varied range of designs, to suit the needs of first-time buyers, downsizers, families and people who commute to work in central London.
“There’s no doubt that the location of Cavendish Grove is also proving to be a key part of its appeal, given that it’s just a 15-minute walk to Raynes Park railway station which has services to Guildford, Hampton Court, Richmond and London Waterloo.”
There’s currently a choice of two, three and four-bedroom houses available to reserve at Cavendish Grove, with prices starting at £725,000.
