New development launched in Pagham
Bellway has welcomed the first visitors to a new homes development which will generate £3 million of investment in Pagham.
Bellway is building 212 properties at Spindrift Park, off Hook Lane. The first homes at the development, which has views over the South Downs National Park, have been released for sale.
The new Bellway homes are part of a wider scheme of 300 homes which is generating more than £3 million in investment for the local area through contributions from the developers. That will include more than £2 million for primary and early years education. The wider project also includes plans for a new care home.
Bellway Wessex Sales Manager Jon Rance said: “There is a lot of interest at this site following the sales launch at Spindrift Park. We were delighted to welcome visitors to our sales office and to tell them all the new community that is being created here.
“As well as providing 12 acres of green open space, Spindrift Park will make a positive difference through the significant funding it will deliver for local infrastructure and services.
“We are focused on making this a sustainable development, with electric charging points installed for the homes to encourage the use of electric and hybrid vehicles and some homes having PV solar panels to generate their own electricity.
“By building here Bellway is supporting the community by creating jobs and work for local sub-contractors, while our development will include 58 affordable homes which will be available for local people through rent or shared ownership.”
There are currently two and three-bedroom houses available at Spindrift Park, with prices starting from £329,995.
