Landmark moment for major housing project in Newark

Work on a major housing development on the southern edge of Newark has reached a turning point with the showhome for the initial phase on sale.

The Foresters at Middlebeck is being built by Bellway off Bowbridge Lane, as part of a much wider project to build more than 3,000 homes in the Nottinghamshire town.

Bellway has completed 138 homes in its first two phases of The Foresters at Middlebeck and has plans in the pipeline for a further 104 houses in a third phase, subject to planning approval.

Kenny Lattimore, Sales Manager at Bellway East Midlands, said: “It is a significant moment to near completion of the initial phases of this development.

“Bellway started work on The Foresters at Middlebeck in early 2018. Since then, the scheme has proved very popular, thanks to the quality of the homes and the location, which offers easy access to both Newark town centre and the surrounding countryside, as well as good road links to other major towns and cities in the region.

“The showhome that inspired so many people to purchase a property at The Foresters at Middlebeck is now itself for sale and it will certainly make a spacious and stylish family home for whoever buys it.”

The showhome is a four-bedroom Lowesby design, which includes an integral garage and is priced at £360,000.

The property comes fully furnished and has an open-plan kitchen/dining room with French doors to the garden, and a separate utility room, as well as a front-facing living room. Bedroom one has an en suite and there is a contemporary family bathroom as well.

The third phase of The Foresters at Middlebeck is planned to feature a mix of two, three, and four-bedroom houses.
