Four showhomes to open at Berwick Green at Cribbs Causeway

Four showhomes are set to open in the first phase of Bellway’s flagship Berwick Green development at Cribbs Causeway in Bristol.

The four properties – which are all three-bedroom houses to give prospective purchasers a feel for the range of home designs available – will be unveiled in April.

The first phase of Berwick Green is bringing 256 properties to the area, with 192 two-bedroom apartments and two, three and four-bedroom houses for private sale and 64 affordable homes for low-cost rent or shared ownership. Bellway is also planning a second phase of a further 153 homes as part of a wider 760-home project.

Sales Manager for Bellway South West, Rachel Way, said: “This is a major development for the Bristol area that is providing high-quality and much-needed housing.

“The scale of the project means that it is only right that we match that by opening up a range of showhomes to display the style and quality of the properties here.

“We are showcasing four house designs. They are all three-bedroom properties – two detached and two semi-detached – and each one offers something specific that will appeal to different buyers depending on how they like to live their life at home, how much space they want and what their budget is.

“If people like to shut the door on the kitchen and relax in a separate living/dining space, the Turner will appeal, with its self-contained kitchen.

“Those looking for a luxurious retreat will find the three-storey Webster an appealing option, as its spacious master bedroom – which features a dressing area as well as an en suite shower room – occupies the entire top floor of the house.

“For anyone seeking particularly light and airy living space, the Thespian has this to offer, with a wide entrance hall leading to a dual-aspect living room with bay window and a kitchen/dining room with French doors to the garden.

“Meanwhile, if buyers want the kitchen to be the hub of the home, the Mason delivers this, with a large L-shaped open-plan kitchen/family/dining room leading to the garden, plus a utility room to provide additional storage and a separate living room to the front.

“There’s certainly plenty on offer here, and with Bristol city centre and the M5 within easy reach, Berwick Green is proving to be very attractive to buyers.

“Our development here at Cribbs Causeway is bringing something rather special to homebuyers in the Bristol area in terms of the properties we are building. Plus, it is also contributing improvements that will benefit everyone living in the area, with almost £8 million being spent on services and infrastructure.

“The money is being invested by Bellway as part of our planning agreement for the development and will be spent on education, roads, sports facilities and transport.”

There’s currently a choice of two-bedroom apartments and two, three and four-bedroom houses available to reserve at Berwick Green, with prices starting from £278,800.
