First residents move onto Bellway development near Maidstone
A family of four are the first residents to move into their new home at Bellway’s development on the outskirts of Maidstone.
Paul and Hayley Embleton, along with their two children, picked up the keys to their detached four-bedroom Bowyer home at Bellway at Rosewood, off Sutton Road in Langley, on Friday 30 June.
Hayley said: “We are settling in so well at our new home, exactly as imagined. Moving is no easy task, but one that we’ve looked forward to when purchasing our home with Bellway.
“Throughout the entire buying process, the sales team have been brilliant! Helpful in answering any questions and making the experience an easy and delightful one.
“Boxes are mostly unpacked, and we plan to fully tackle decorating once the kids go back to school soon. We can’t wait to put those final personal touches on our gorgeous new space.”
Bellway Thames Gateway is building a total of 170 new homes at the 10-acre site. The development will comprise 119 new homes for private sale and 51 affordable homes for local people through low-cost rent and shared ownership.

Bellway is the latest housebuilder to start construction work within the wider Rosewood development, which is being led by Countryside Properties. Plans for the overall scheme include up to 800 homes, over 34.5 acres of public open space and the provision of land for a primary school within the 116-acre site.
There is currently a selection of two, three and four-bedroom new homes available to reserve at Bellway at Rosewood, with prices starting at £345,000.
