Construction work completed at development in Earls Colne
Bellway has now completed the construction of all 90 of the homes at its Harvard Place development in Earls Colne.
The scheme, off Station Road, has seen the developer build 54 two, three and four-bedroom houses for private sale as well as 36 new homes to provide local people with affordable housing through shared ownership or low-cost rent.
Landscaped public open space, footpaths and wildlife habitats have also been created alongside existing woodland, which has been retained within the site.
Jenny Walker, Sales Director of Bellway Essex, said: “The completion of building work at Harvard Place has brought our construction team here a real sense of accomplishment. They have been working hard to deliver these high-quality homes since November 2020, when we launched the development.

Harvard Place was named after the Harvard Warbird training aircraft which operated from Earls Colne Airfield nearby during the Second World War.
All the properties at Harvard Place have now sold – with just one still to complete – but Bellway is selling at its nearby Willow Park development in Halstead, and will also be selling new homes at Oakfields Park in Halstead later this year, when a development of two, three and four-bedroom homes will be released to the public.
