Bellway's sweet treat for primary school pupils

Pupils at Annick Primary and Early Years in Irvine were treated to a selection box thanks to the generosity of Bellway Homes Limited (Scotland West) and its suppliers.

The Parent Council approached the housebuilder, who are building a new development of homes nearby, requesting a small contribution towards their funds to buy selection boxes for the children.

However, Site Manager Alistair Cairnie was keen to go one step further and rallied round the support of the company’s development suppliers and gifted the school 450 selection boxes to ensure every child received one.

Alistair said, “We were only too pleased to be able to provide a touch of Christmas magic and it was great to see the children’s excited faces when we were invited along to present them.”

Roslyn Milligan, Parent Council member added, “we’re grateful to Bellway for this generous donation.  It’s been fantastic to receive this support to help give the children a special treat this Christmas.”

Special thanks to the suppliers who made it possible including SLBC Brickwork; JA Ceramics; Neil Barr Decorators; Total Scaffold; Advance Construction; Jordan Electrics, Hood Construction; Glenavon Plumbing; McLean Roofing; and Garraton Ltd Roughcaster.

Bellway are currently building a new residential development in Irvine called Montgomerie Park located off Montgomerie Park Drive.  The development features a collection of three and four bedroom homes with prices starting from £189,995.  Further information is available from www.bellway.co.uk.
