Bellway welcomes first visitors to Whitford Heights development in Bromsgrove

Bellway has officially opened its new housing development in Bromsgrove to the public.

The housebuilder welcomed visitors to the Whitford Heights scheme in the town for the first time on Saturday 29 June.

New sales offices and showhomes were unveiled at the site off Whitford Road where a total of 370 new homes are being delivered.

Around 130 people attended the launch event, enjoying treats from an ice cream cart and sweets trolley, as well as entertainment from a balloon artist and caricaturist.

There was also an appearance from Thomas Cubitt of Bromsgrove Rugby Club, which Bellway has supported with kit sponsorship this year, who gave a mini rugby masterclass.

Angela Nurse, Sales Manager for Bellway West Midlands, said: “The launch of our new development at Whitford Heights was a fantastic occasion with a real family-friendly carnival feel thanks to the wonderful entertainment on show.

“There has been a huge amount of interest in the development, with almost 1,500 people contacting us to enquire about the new homes before the first properties went on sale. There was an extremely good turnout at the launch event with buyers keen to secure one of the first plots.

“We have four showhomes at the development which will enable visitors to appreciate the variety in size, design and layout that this collection of homes provides.”

Homes at the development are being delivered under the housebuilder’s Bellway and Ashberry Homes brands. Bellway at Whitford Heights will comprise 184 homes while Ashberry Homes at Whitford Heights will feature 186 properties. There will be 222 homes for private sale, including bungalows and two, three and four-bedroom houses, and 148 affordable homes for low-cost rent or shared ownership across the two developments.
