Bellway starts work on phase three at Regency Manor in Wynyard
Works are well underway on the third phase of new homes at Bellway Durham’s landmark Regency Manor development in Wynyard, with the first residents due to move in later this month.
The developer is building 54 four and five-bedroom properties in this new phase of construction at the flagship site, which is located in the former grounds of the historic Wynyard Hall, now a luxury hotel and lakeside spa.
The Draper, a five-bedroom detached showhome, has recently opened to the public. Alongside this, the housebuilder has opened the four-bedroom Pargeter as a House to Home plot, which showcases various stages of the construction process to potential buyers.
Bellway has completed all of the 138 new homes in phase one at Regency Manor, with 57 of the 66 homes in phase two also finished.
Christie Edge, Head of Sales at Bellway Durham, said: “With works now well underway on phase 3, we’re looking forward to welcoming the first new residents into their new homes here later this month.
“The first two phases at Regency Manor have been extremely popular with buyers and we are confident that this third phase will create the same level of interest from people looking for new homes in a fantastic location.
“The launch weekend for our new showhome and House to Home plot was a great success, with the new sales arena being well received by customers. This provides an opportunity for visitors to not only see inside a completed and fully furnished property but also to gain a better understanding of the processes and complexities involved in building their new home.”
The House to Home plot demonstrates the various stages of construction from ‘first fix’, which involves building walls, ceilings and floors, and installing pipework and cabling, to final stages, which includes installing the kitchen and completing the tiling and decorating.
Christie said: “House-hunters appreciate the peace of mind which comes with knowing that their Bellway property is being delivered by a developer which has achieved five-star builder status with the Home Builders Federation for eight years in a row.”
The third phase of Regency Manor is set to generate investment in education, healthcare and affordable homes through the planning agreement.
A selection of four and five-bedroom homes are currently available to reserve on phases two and three of Regency Manor, with prices starting at £406,995.
