Bellway reaches landmark at Regency Manor development in Wynyard Woods

Bellway has reached another landmark at its Regency Manor development in Wynyard Woods as demand for homes in the sought-after setting remains high.

More than half of the homes on Phase 2 of the Teesside development have now been sold and one quarter have been built and occupied.

Bellway started work at Regency Manor in late 2018 and are building 138 homes in the first phase. After purchasing an additional parcel of land, the company began work on a further 66 homes in Regency Manor’s second phase, where a showhome opened earlier this year. Customers have continued to reserve off-plan to secure their new home in the village.

Oliver Wray, Sales Manager for Bellway Durham, said: “Wynyard Woods is one of the most sought-after addresses in County Durham. While the name carries exclusivity, we have ensured our varied collection of four and five-bedroom houses cater for a wide range of needs and budgets.

“The consistent demand here means we are still selling off-plan before the homes are built. Customers can see the community we have already built here and are happy to make a commitment to ensure they can move into their preferred home in this stunning location.”

Solicitor Stephen Gowland reserved his home at Regency Manor off-plan when he was relocating back to the area from Manchester.

He said: “The area around Wynyard estate is perfect to walk my dog, Oscar. I also really appreciate how spacious our garden is here.

“In addition to that, the bedrooms are also very generously sized. I have been able to set up an office area to work from home in one of the bedrooms quite comfortably.

“Even when my family came over for Christmas last year, they had no trouble staying the night because there was more than enough room for everybody.”

Bellway has extended its commitment to Regency Manor, purchasing a third parcel of land where an additional 54 homes will be built.

Oliver added: “Regency Manor has become a flagship development for Bellway Durham. We are proud to have created attractive new homes surrounded by swathes of green open spaces. Visitors regularly praise the design of the development and the rural feel it creates.

“As we reach the halfway sold point within the second phase of development, we look forward to welcoming many more people to their new homes at Regency Manor.”

More homes have recently been released for sale at the development. Four and five-bedroom houses are available with prices ranging from £354,995 to £594,995. For more information see https://www.bellway.co.uk/new-homes/durham/regency-manor or call the sales team on 01740 771413.
