Bellway opens new showhome in Wynyard village

Bellway Durham has just thrown open the doors to a new showhome at its development in the village of Wynyard.

The developer is building 66 new homes in the second phase of Regency Manor, which is located within the prestigious Wynyard Estate.

The housebuilder is now showcasing a Watchmaker property as a showhome, which first opened on Saturday 28 January at the development, situated off Wynyard Woods.

The release of new homes on the second phase has followed the sale of nearly all but six of the 138 properties within the first phase. All 204 new homes on the development will be four and five-bedroom properties.

Oliver Wray, Sales Manager at Bellway Durham, said: “There has been a great deal of interest, particularly among local people, in the new homes we are building here at Regency Manor. This strong demand has seen us successfully sell all but six properties in the first phase.

“This new showhome, which has been fully furnished and decorated by our team of interior designers, is one of the first properties to be completed in phase two, situated opposite the first phase of new homes. We realise that some house-hunters like to see inside a showhome before they commit to a purchase and this property will give them the opportunity to visualise just how living there could actually look.

“The showhome has been designed to offer the layout and flexible space that is demanded these days by buyers, particularly growing families and people needing a home office.”

All of the homes in the second phase will be from Bellway’s Artisan Collection, the housebuilder’s flagship collection of top-quality properties developed in response to decades of customer feedback, combining traditional craftsmanship and attention to detail with modern construction techniques.

Oliver said: “Bellway is proud to be part of a wider scheme to deliver hundreds of new homes and bring investment to this lovely village. Our ethos as a socially responsible developer is to not only build new homes but also to connect with and play a part in the local community.

“Wynyard Church of England Primary School opened in 2015 and since we began our building programme at Regency Manor, Bellway has built up a close relationship with the school which has seen us donate £300 towards its summer fair in 2019 and £500 towards its project to plant trees in the school grounds in 2021.

“The new homes in the second phase are being built on land right next to the school and families looking to move here are delighted that there is a school right on the doorstep, which has been rated as ‘outstanding’ in its latest Ofsted inspection.

“We fully expect that the demand we experienced for our homes in the first phase at Regency Manor will continue into the second phase. We would advise anyone thinking of moving to this stunning rural location, which is just five minutes’ walk from the centre of the village, to contact us as soon as they can.”

There is currently a choice of four and five-bedroom new homes available to reserve at Regency Manor, with prices starting at £354,995 and £514,995 respectively.
