Bellway meets demand for local apartments at development in Greenhithe

Bellway London has welcomed visitors to its new apartment development in Greenhithe for the first time.

The housebuilder is delivering 258 apartments at Crossways Quarter, which is located on a 4.8-acre site between St Mary’s Road and Crossways Boulevard.

The developer opened the development by unveiling a new sales centre on a busy launch day on Saturday (23 September).

Due to very strong demand, Bellway London released the first homes at Crossways Quarter for sale from its nearby Copperhouse Green site in March this year, with 12 homes already reserved off plan.

Ed Brading, Head of Sales for Bellway Thames Gateway, said: “There has been an incredible demand for these apartments at Crossways Quarter with more than 2,000 people registering their interest before we released the first homes for sale.

“It was great to be able to welcome potential purchasers onto the site for the first time so that we could show them what is happening here.

“Our sales team was kept very busy on the launch day when lots of people took the opportunity to visit. The sales advisors were able to meet customers face-to-face to show them details of the fabulous collection of one, two and three-bedroom apartments we are delivering here.”

Crossways Quarter will feature seven low-rise apartment buildings. Two linked apartment buildings will surround a podium courtyard while the other five blocks are to be arranged around a central park.

A state of the art gym and work office hub has also been introduced, with all of the apartments featuring a balcony or terrace and will have an allocated parking space. Each apartment will also have access to a cycle storage area and a walking/cycling path will traverse the site to allow residents to choose sustainable transport options.

Ed said: “The development is ideally situated with excellent transport links for people needing to commute into central London or needing access to the M25, with the Dartford Crossing a mile away. It is just a five-minute walk to Stone Crossing railway station which provides Southeastern and Thameslink trains into the capital.

“The hugely popular Bluewater Shopping Centre, which has more than 300 stores and a host of restaurants, cafes and bars, is just a five-minute drive from Crossways Quarter.”

The development will consist of 232 apartments for private sale and 26 affordable properties available for local people through low-cost rent or shared ownership.

There’s currently a selection of one and two-bedroom apartments available to reserve at Crossways Quarter, with prices starting at £251,000 and £300,000 respectively.
