Bellway launches new showhomes in Bishopton

Bellway Homes Limited (Scotland West) has released two new striking showhomes at its popular Dargavel Village development in Bishopton, Renfrewshire.

Situated nearby the recently opened new primary school on Arrochar Drive and representing Bellway’s second development at Dargavel Village, on completion this phase will feature 172 new homes including two-bedroom apartments, three, four and five bedroom semi and detached homes.

Visitors will now be able to view the stylish Sunningdale showhome, a five bedroom detached villa with double garage, alongside the sophisticated Avondale, a four bedroom detached home.

They say nothing is simply black and white and that is certainly true about the elegant Sunningdale where this paired back colour palette sets a classic mood throughout the downstairs.

The spacious living room combines the classic pairing of black and grey, with gold accessories to create a sophisticated and timeless feel. Moving into the kitchen, dining and family area, the monochrome look is brought right up to date with a stylish smoked dining table with co-ordinating black velvet chairs, alongside a dramatic black mirror feature wall offset by a L-shaped white textured sofa.  French doors open out to the garden.

The sleek and contemporary smoky grey kitchen features innovative storage and is perfect setting for enthusiastic cooks.  The kitchen leads to a practical utility room, where the all-important wine rack takes centre stage, and a cloakroom.

Moving upstairs the colour pairing changes the mood to create a serene and luxurious look.  A sparkling chandelier and a bold grey velvet headboard with black and grey wall coverings, classic bedside lamps, mirrored furniture, velvet textured bed linens and cushions, create an aspirational master bedroom complete with a Juliette balcony and a luxe ensuite.

The theme of black and grey tones extends into the second where dramatic lighting adds to the appeal of the room, which also includes an ensuite.  A third double bedroom is styled in delicate tones of pink and grey evoking a feeling of calm whilst retaining its designer appeal.

Adults and children will be captivated by the fourth bedroom styled after Gotham City’s most popular and iconic superhero – Batman.  Even the Cape Crusader wouldn’t fail to be impressed by the level of detailing from the themed bedding and storage, to the feature Gotham City skyline feature wallpaper.  The family sized bathroom, alongside further storage, completes the upper floor.

The final bedroom has been transformed into a luxurious study with dramatic geometric wallpaper and a black velvet sofa to relax and enjoy some creative thinking.

In contrast the Avondale embraces lighter tones whilst retaining a similar classical style.  The living room features striking wall panelling in gun metal grey complimented by copper sofas and accessories with feature lighting and window dressings in shades of grey.

The kitchen dining area, with French doors to the garden, replicates the wall panelling but in muted tones of grey, soft beige, creams and accents of black creating a sophisticated palette.  The streamlined kitchen means that everyday items are kept out of sight along with the utility room.

Copper tones and luxury velvets dominate the feature bedrooms whilst the teenage bedroom is a music enthusiast’s dream reflecting audio sound throughout the years in the bedlinen, cushions and wallpaper.

Little ones will love the panda inspired bedroom with its special headboard keeping a watchful eye alongside other furry friends.

Pauline Coates, Sales Director, Bellway Homes Limited (Scotland West) said, “Our Dargavel Village development has been particularly popular amongst growing families and our two new showhomes are designed to inspire and reflect the design styles people are seeking in a new home.

“Its proximity to the new primary school, as well as the train station, has made the development attractive to people looking to relocate from a wide range of areas and is a model example of new build living.”

A good selection of local amenities are within walking distance including two supermarkets, health centre, library and train station. There are a number of family friendly eateries in the area, with traditional inn-keeper style pubs, an Indian restaurant and a pizzeria.

For special occasions there is the five-star Mar Hall Golf & Spa Resort and nearby Ingliston Country Club and Hotel is home to the popular Palomino’s Restaurant and Cocktail Bar and offers world-class equestrian facilities.

Dargavel Village is perfect for lovers of the great outdoors, with acres of beautiful countryside and coastline nearby, along with cycle trails and Loch Lomond is just a short drive away.

The showhomes are open for viewing Monday and Friday 10am until 5pm, Thursday 10am until 7pm, Saturday and Sunday from 11am until 5pm and closed Tuesday and Wednesday.  Further information is available from www.bellway.co.uk.
