Bellway hosts ‘dusty boots’ event for home-hunters in Fobbing
Bellway Thames Gateway held a ‘dusty boots’ event at its Maple Creek development in Fobbing for prospective buyers to look at the properties taking shape on site.
The event took place on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 June, inviting future residents to put on hard hats, hi-vis jackets and work boots to have a preview of their future homes.
The event was also open to members of the public and prospective buyers to see three homes under construction, as well as three showhomes.
During the tour, visitors were able to find out more about the construction processes which go into the building of new homes, as well as their energy-efficient features such as high-quality insulation.
Samantha Norman, Sales Manager for Bellway Thames Gateway, said: “It was great to invite buyers to Maple Creek to help give them an insight into their future homes as they are being built.
“We also welcomed home-hunters who are thinking about buying and wanted to find out more about what we have to offer.
“We were able to show them the care and craftsmanship which goes into every new Bellway home and the energy-efficient measures which can help save buyers a significant amount on their fuel bills.”
Bellway is building 168 new homes at Maple Creek on a 24-acre site off High Road. There will be 109 two, three and four-bedroom houses for private sale, plus 59 affordable homes available for local people through low-cost rent or shared ownership.
There is currently a choice of two, three and four-bedroom houses available to reserve, with prices starting from £375,000.
Bellway’s ‘Your Home, Your Way’ initiative is currently offering customers at Maple Creek up to £15,000 to help them buy a new home. The money is offered either through a mortgage subsidy, a deposit contribution or towards upgrades such as premium flooring, tiling or lighting and is available on reservations up to 30 June.
