Bellway Homes to begin Skipton sales
The Yorkshire division of national homebuilder, Bellway Homes has announced that sales will commence at its new Skipton development, Clifford Gardens on Saturday, May 13th – with guide prices from £280,000 to £475,000.
Being built on a 16.5-acre site off the town’s Carleton Road, the development will comprise a strong mix of different home types and sizes, including two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes.
Melanie Smith, Bellway Yorkshire’s sales director, said: “Interest in Clifford Gardens has been growing steadily since we first announced the development and with every new banner we put up, we get a flood of calls and e-mails asking if sales are about to start.”
“With that kind of local interest, we fully expect our opening weekend to be one of the busiest for sales we’ve ever had in Yorkshire.”
All of the homes planned for Clifford Gardens are designed and built to the exacting high standards expected of a housebuilder that recently retained its five-star status with the Home Builders Federation (HBF) for a seventh successive year. This rating is awarded only when 90 per cent or more of customers state they would happily recommend a housebuilder to a friend or family member. HBF’s ratings are based on a survey of all new home buyers over a calendar year.
“Achieving a seventh successive HBF five-star rating is a huge feat as it truly reflects what our customers think about the homes we build and the service we provide,” added Melanie.
As part of its work in Skipton, Bellway will be investing close to £400,000 in infrastructure and leisure improvements. This includes £230k that will be spent on a range of local highway infrastructure improvements, £20k on a travel plan fund, and £115k that will be spent by Craven District Council on the development of open space improvements at Sandylands Sports Centre. The development also has provision for 37 affordable homes.
