Apartments in new block for sale at Crossways Quarter in Greenhithe

The first homes in a new apartment block at Bellway London’s Crossways Quarter development in Greenhithe are now on the market.

The housebuilder has released for sale 19 of the 34 one and two-bedroom apartments which will be built in the four-storey Banwell building at the development off Crossways Boulevard.

Each apartment will have either a balcony or a terrace and an allocated parking space, with cycle storage areas also provided.

Bellway London is delivering a total of 258 one, two and three-bedroom apartments at Crossways Quarter. The Banwell apartments are in one of five blocks which will be arranged around a central park, while two linked apartment buildings will surround a podium courtyard.

Construction work on the Eden apartment building is nearing completion with the first residents due to move in at the end of March.

A two-bedroom showhome within the Eden block is currently available to view, while two show apartments in the Banwell building are due to open later in the summer.

Carolyn Webb, Bellway London Sales Manager, said: “The demand at Crossways Quarter has been incredibly strong ever since we first announced our plans to build here. In fact, we took the decision to launch the development off-site after more than 2,000 people registered their interest in the new apartments.

“We have now released for sale the first one and two-bedroom apartments in the Banwell Block and expect the sales success of the previous blocks to carry through.

“The progress made at the site means that first residents are due to move in at the end of March and it will be exciting to watch this brand-new community take shape.

“This will be a sustainable development with a variety of public spaces, including a children’s play area, for the residents to enjoy and relax in. The residents will have exclusive use of a state-of-the-art gym and a Workhub, both on site, to allow them to keep fit and to connect with the office without having to leave the development.”

Crossways Quarter will consist of 232 apartments for private sale and 26 affordable properties available for local people through low-cost rent or shared ownership.

Carolyn said: “This development is ideally situated as it is a five-minute drive from the busy Bluewater Shopping Centre which provides not only a huge number of shops but also cafes, restaurants and a multiplex cinema.

“The location offers excellent transport links for commuters travelling by both train and car. Drivers will benefit from the Dartford Crossing a mile away, while train passengers have only a five-minute walk to Stone Crossing railway station which provides Southeastern and Thameslink trains into London.”

There’s currently a selection of one and two-bedroom apartments available to reserve at Crossways Quarter, with prices starting at £248,000 and £308,000 respectively.
