All homes sold at Wavendon Chase development in Milton Keynes
All homes at the new Wavendon Chase development in Milton Keynes have now been sold.
The Bellway development of 168 properties is nearing completion with construction expected to finish by the end of this year.
The homes are a range of one and two-bedroom apartments as well as two, three, and four-bedroom houses. There were 118 for private sale and 50 affordable homes for rent or shared ownership.
Milton Keynes City Council approved plans for the scheme in September 2019 and work started on site in February the following year.
Although work was briefly halted amid lockdown restrictions at the start of the pandemic a month later, construction quickly resumed and the first residents started moving into their new homes at the start of 2021.
Luke Southgate, Sales Director at Bellway Northern Home Counties, said: “There is high demand for homes in and around Milton Keynes and this development has made a significant contribution to meeting that need.
“Everyone on site has worked with enormous skill and professionalism to reach this point, with the build almost finished and all the homes sold. Wavendon Chase is part of a wider scheme that will bring more homes as well as schools, shops, public open space, and a health centre to the area.
Bellway is building 239 new homes at its nearby Wavendon View development. This is a range of two, three, and four-bedroom houses, including 165 properties for private sale and 74 affordable homes for rent or shared ownership.
