Bellway has opened the doors to two new showhomes at its development in Hilperton, near Trowbridge.

The housebuilder is delivering a total of 151 new homes at Weavers Meadow, off Elizabeth Way in the village, where a four-bedroom Philosopher and a three-bedroom Mason showhome were unveiled at a launch event on Saturday (13 April).

Bellway South West hired Wiltshire-based Falvo Artisan Pizza Company to serve free slices of wood-fired pizza and refreshments to visitors.

Christel Hawkins, Sales Manager for Bellway South West, said: “Ever since we announced our plans to build these new homes here in Hilperton there has been great a deal of excitement in the area and this level of interest was evident by the large numbers of people who turned up on launch day.

“It was lovely to be able to offer our guests a delicious bite to eat and a drink and for our sales team to chat in a relaxed setting to the house-hunters about the various properties which might suit their individual needs.”

The Philosopher is a four-bedroom detached house with an open-plan kitchen/family/dining area across the back of the property, with French doors leading to the garden, as well as a separate study, living room and utility room downstairs.

Meanwhile, the three-bedroom Mason features an L-shaped kitchen/dining/family room at the back of the house with French doors, a utility room and a front-facing living room. Upstairs, both properties have an en suite to the main bedroom.

Christel said: “These two impressive family-size homes proved to be very popular on the day with prospective buyers complimenting our sales team on the finish and design of the properties. They provide a perfect example of what life might look like in a completed house at this development.

“The Philosopher and the Mason are both from Bellway’s flagship Artisan Collection, which is a choice of top-quality homes, carefully designed after decades of feedback from customers. Both homes offer flexible space with the combination of bright and airy communal space for day-to-day living in the open-plan kitchen/dining/family room, and quieter, cosier spaces for relaxation or work in the separate living room.

“These showhomes demonstrate the high quality of finish in all our homes and, with two designs to view, also take into consideration the different ways people want to live.”

When complete, Weavers Meadow will consist of 106 two, three and four-bedroom houses for private sale, alongside 45 one to four-bedroom affordable properties available for local people through low-cost rent or shared ownership.

There’s currently a choice of three and four-bedroom homes available to reserve, with prices starting at £320,995 and £499,995 respectively.
