Crossways Quarter due to launch off-site due to high demand

The first apartments at new Greenhithe development are due to be released for sale in response to thousands of enquiries from home-hunters.

Due to the high demand for homes in the area, Bellway London is launching Crossways Quarter before the site is fully open, selling the first properties from the sales centre at its nearby Copperhouse Green development in Dartford.

The launch event for Crossways Quarter will take place at Copperhouse Green on Saturday 25 March from 11am.

Emma Hamlett, Sales Director for Bellway London, said: “More than 2,000 people have registered their interest in the new homes at Crossways Quarter.

“We are releasing the first homes for sale in advance of the site opening so people can secure their place here, which is a real indicator of the demand for new housing in the area.

“We are looking forward to welcoming potential purchasers to the launch event, when they will be able to discuss their requirements with the sales advisors and make a reservation off-plan on select apartments.

“There will be a marquee with refreshments on the day which prospective buyers can enjoy.”

Bellway London is building 258 apartments at Crossways Quarter, which is located on a 4.8-acre site between St Mary’s Road and Crossways Boulevard. Of these, 232 will be apartments for private sale and 26 will be affordable properties available for local people through low-cost rent or shared ownership.

Two linked apartment buildings will surround a podium courtyard while the other five blocks will be arranged around a central park. Each apartment will have access to a cycle storage area and a walking/cycling path will cross the site encouraging residents to use sustainable means of transport.

Emma said: “The popularity of this development stems from its great location with good transport links, allowing residents to live outside the city but have easy access to the capital.

“Commuters are served by Stone Crossing railway station, which is less than a 10-minute walk away, and Ebbsfleet International station which is a 10-minute drive away. Both stations offer regular services to central London. Drivers will note that the Dartford Crossing and M25 are also close to home.”

The launch event for Crossways Quarter will be held on Saturday 25 March at 11am at the Copperhouse Green sales centre, located off Lowfield Street in Dartford.
