Bellway marks end of 2023 Elevate middle management programme

National housebuilder Bellway hosted an event to mark the end of its 2023 Elevate programme.

Run in collaboration with Mosaic Partners, Elevate is the company’s flagship CMI (Chartered Management Institute) accredited training course for middle managers.

The first intake of 48 employees enrolled on the scheme in September last year and completed the programme earlier this month (December).

Modules covered topics such as leadership, mental health awareness, equality, diversity and inclusion, and people management.

This year’s programme culminated in a ceremony in Leeds in December, when those who took part in the course were presented with their certificates.

Laura Bell, Bellway Group’s Senior Organisation Development Manager, said: “The Elevate programme has been a great addition to the training courses that we offer to staff at all levels of the business. We have been very encouraged by the interest that the scheme has already generated, something which is reflected by the high number of middle managers who took part in this year’s programme.

Elevate was introduced to help employees working in these very important positions to improve their leadership skills and unlock the potential of their teams.

Zoe Dobbs, Bellway North London Sales Manager, said: “I am grateful to have had the opportunity to partake in this middle management programme. Amongst many things, I’ve learned that great communication is key to my role and just having some good conversations rather than sending emails will help make me a successful manager.”
