Bellway hosts ‘dusty boots’ event at development in Weston-super-Mare
House-hunters took the chance to have a glimpse behind the scenes at a ‘dusty boots’ event at Bellway’s Mead Fields development in Weston-super-Mare.
Bellway South West gave members of the public the chance to view homes at different stages of construction at the development on the eastern edge of the town.
Bellway sales advisors Rachel Collard and Francesca Coley hosted the event on Saturday (30 September), with visitors putting on boots, hard hats and hi-vis jackets for tours of the site.
An independent financial advisor from New Homes Mortgage Helpline was on hand at the event to explain to potential purchasers which mortgage products might be available to them.
The housebuilder is delivering 150 homes at Mead Fields, off Wolvershill Road, including a mix of two-bedroom apartments and two, three and four-bedroom houses.
Rachel Way, Sales Manager at Bellway South West, said: “The ‘dusty boots’ event gave people a rare opportunity to get a real behind-the-scenes view of houses being constructed. Would-be buyers were able to gain a better appreciation of how their home is put together and the high quality of the care and workmanship that goes into building the property.
“Our sales team, Rachel and Francesca, were kept busy throughout and two of the visitors were so impressed by the site and the quality of the properties that they have reserved new homes at Mead Fields following the event. It was also beneficial for customers to have a financial advisor there as they were able to help people navigate the mortgage market and find them the best possible deal.
“This development has been incredibly sought-after right from the start and we only have eight homes remaining for sale. A big selling factor here is that the development is just a short drive from Weston-super-Mare town centre, which offers supermarkets, shops, pubs and restaurants, and there is also the lovely sandy beach. Moreover, the location is attractive to commuters as it has easy access to nearby junction 21 of the M5 for Gloucester or Exeter and is just a mile from Worle railway station, for trains to Bristol or Exeter.”
There’s currently a choice of two-bedroom apartments and three and four-bedroom houses available to reserve, with prices starting at £217,500 and £325,000 respectively.
